About Us

The Sikh Student Association at George Mason University welcomes everyone! George Mason University's Sikh Student Association was established in 2007. The organization was created as a platform for Sikh students to come together and get involved in the community and live up to the principles of Sikhism. The purpose of the organization is to promote awareness of our faith, heritage and culture through understanding and service within the community. The Sikh Student Association serves as a forum and support group for students, faculty and those interested in increasing awareness of the Sikh faith and getting involved in humanitarian efforts through seva.
