About Us

The GMU Honor Committee promotes academic integrity as a core value for our university community. Members of the committee serve on hearing panels established to investigate and resolve alleged violations of the Honor Code. In addition to serving on hearing panels Honor Committee members promote integrity on campus and volunteer at Academic Integrity events. Participation on the Mason Honor Committee helps students enhance their resume by developing valuable skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, and decision making.
