The Black Graduate Student Association grew out of the need to bring together and support the Black Graduate Student population at George Mason University. Our organization works to build community for Mason's Black graduate student body by providing a space to support and facilitate events and opportunities that foster the academic, cultural, intellectual, social, and political concerns and interests of our Black graduate students.
