Real-World Game Development Experience: Members will work on professional-quality games, with the opportunity to see their projects published on platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, and itch.io. This hands-on experience is invaluable for building skills and gaining insight into the entire development lifecycle. Portfolio Development: Collaborate on polished, completed games to showcase in personal portfolios. Each project will serve as a tangible example of members’ contributions, whether in design, programming, art, or storytelling—crucial for pursuing careers in the game industry. Exposure at Industry Events: Members will have the chance to showcase their work at game expos and festivals such as MAGFest, PAX, and local conventions. This provides networking opportunities with industry professionals and exposure to potential fans, publishers, or collaborators. Publishing and Marketing Knowledge: Gain firsthand experience in publishing and marketing games, including creating promotional materials, trailers, and press releases. Learn how to navigate the business side of the gaming industry, including how to pitch to publishers and handle intellectual property.
