We hope that you're enjoying the last few days of your winter break! There are a few reminders we wanted to share as we prepare for the start of another semester!
Scholar Evaluations:
As a reminder, DC-CAP Scholars receive an evaluation of their standing with the program each semester. An email will be sent out next week with your personal standing and any next steps you may need to take
Spring Registration:
Double-check your schedule and complete any last edits before the add/drop period ends. Scholars must be at full-time standing (enrolled in 12+ credits) to be eligible for your funding
Please keep Thursday evenings clear in your schedule for cohort meetings. Let your coach know if you have a schedule conflict with a required course.
Financial Aid:
Make sure to check your financial aid portal for any pending action items before the semester starts. As a reminder
Complete your 2026-2027 FAFSA if it hasn't been submitted yet. Let your coach know if you are running into any challenges so we can get you connected to the necessary resources ASAP
Housing Applications and Fee Waivers:
The 2026-2027 housing application is live. The deadline to submit is February 3rd. DC-CAP scholars are eligible to receive a waiver for the application fee. An email was sent out in December with the required documentation and steps for requesting the waiver.
