On Wednesday, April 22nd, Freedom Connection Rotaract hosted the Career Panel with four amazing speakers who spoke about current trends in anti-human trafficking, their work in the field, and career advice for students. We had over 40 students and community members join us for Halal Guys and an incredible evening of wisdom, storytelling, and inspiration.
Our panelists included:
Shamere McKenzie - survivor leader, internationally-recognized speaker, advocate, and CEO-Founder of Sungate Foundation.
Kathleen Callaway - FBI, special agent
Mar Tortajada - Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE/forensic nurse) at INOVA FACT, and school RN
Amy Wilken - attorney at Amara Legal Center
