The Forge is extending the submission deadline for our Fall 2026 issue!

Whether you’ve been polishing a story, almost done rendering an artwork, or putting the final touches on a photo composite, this is your chance to still have it submitted for consideration over this weekend.
We welcome sci-fi and fantasy pieces of all kinds, including:
- Literature (short stories, poetry, etc)
- Illustrations (digital and traditional)
- Photography and photo composites
- Crafts
GMU students from all campuses, majors, and academic years are welcome to submit, and you can send in more than one work to be included in The Forge.
