About Us
The purpose of Helping Hands is to serve individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in the surrounding community through the preparation and distribution of care packages containing essential hygiene items, food, clothing, and informational resources. The organization seeks to promote community engagement, service learning, and social responsibility among George Mason University students by addressing local needs through volunteerism, outreach, and education.
