About Us

The purpose of The Knitting Guild at George Mason University is to bring awareness to the centuries old fiber art of knitting, promote and foster the art and joy of knitting, build a community of hand knitters at all skill levels, and encourage sharing information and exchanging ideas among members. Members can gain knitting experience and develop their artistic craft through programming, events and opportunities focusing on technique, tools, color theory, fibers and design, along with making friends.
