About Us

The mission of Mock Trial at George Mason University is to encourage students to pursue their legal aspirations. We aim to create an environment that educates and prepares members for both mock trial competition and their future legal profession of choice. Mock Trial at George Mason University will allow this by: 1) Hosting workshops in which we go over mock cases and briefs. Dissecting them and preparing legal case strategies. 2) Doing mock trials with fellow members to better hone critical thinking and legal skills. 3) Creating a space to learn, gain experience, and network with those in the legal profession. While this club is heavily legal-focused, we welcome any and all who want to learn about the world of criminal justice (and those who just want to act and have fun)!
