Membership is also extended to interdisciplinary social science areas that build on the core social science disciplines, such as business and society, education, minority studies, public administration, international studies, public finance, leadership studies, consumer behavior, public policy and organizational behavior.

Eligibility

Undergraduates:
Completion of at least twenty semester hours/credits in the Social Sciences (faculty sponsors have wide discretion regarding which courses with significant Social Sciences content will count). Transfer and dual credit hours in the Social Sciences, accepted by the institution, may be considered once a student has completed one full-time quarter or semester at that institution, home of the chapter from which membership is sought. Major in the Social Sciences is not a requirement for membership.

Members must have an average grade of "B" or better in all Social Sciences courses. Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or above.

Graduate or Professional Student Members:

Graduate or professional students attending a college or university with an active Pi Gamma Mu chapter who have completed nine graduate hours in social science-related coursework, with an average grade of "B" or better in all Social Sciences courses.

Students that meet the criteria above with an interest in joining our Chapter must first complete a short chapter membership survey: https://forms.office.com/r/gRGUUxN5zW.
