About Us

The Racially and Ethnically Minoritized Psychology Graduate Student Association (REMPGA) aims to recognize and address the extraordinary needs of graduate psychology students of color (PGSOC). REMPGA was formed on a voluntary basis by graduate psychology students to be united not only in words but in action with the purpose of providing organizational support and counsel and fostering a safe and culturally centered community on campus. Our mission is to empower PGSOC by advocating for and offering resources and protection that PGSOC deserves to enable a holistic student experience at Mason. We hope to accomplish the goal of culturally enriching our community and working with George Mason's administration to develop and maintain an accountable and equitable professional learning environment for Mason's PGSOC to thrive for decades to come.
