Did you know collaborating with George Mason Alumni Chapters can give your events that extra spark—and some extra funding? 🤑 Whether you're planning a winter fest, a speaker series, or a community service project, teaming up with an alumni chapter is a win-win!
Each academic or affinity alumni chapter can tap into $400 per year from the George Mason University Alumni Association (“GMUAA”) for events—and guess what? If your RSO partners with a chapter, you can tap into this and help bring your event ideas to life! 🎉
Need help with promotions or event planning? Partnering with one of the many alumni chapters is a great way to enhance your event. Most schools and colleges at Mason have their own alumni chapters, including the Costello College of Business, College of Education and Human Development, College of Engineering and Computing, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Public Health, College of Science, Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution, and the Schar School of Policy and Government.
Additionally, there are affinity alumni chapters for the Black Alumni, Early Identification Program (EIP), Green Machine, Honors College, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Alumni, Lambda Alumni, Latino Alumni, and Veterans Alumni. By collaborating with these chapters, your RSO can benefit from event support and marketing, and more importantly, the chance to network with Mason Alumni!
Let’s make something great together—RSOs and Alumni Chapters teaming up for awesome events! 🎓💡
