Mission Our mission is to be an advocate for and engage young professionals support for SAME's strategic plan through outreach, training, networking, and recognition.
Membership BenefitsStudent membership in the Society is free for undergraduate students age 25 and under, offering an opportunity to join a local Post and participate in activities without paying National or Post dues. While fees may be collected for specific events, they must be approved by chapter leadership and comply with university regulations. Upon graduation, student members may transition to Young Member status and join a Post near their career location. Membership in the Student Chapter is open to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students of the university, and the organization upholds a strict non-discrimination policy, ensuring equal access regardless of race, color, age, disability, religion, gender, national origin, marital status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or any other unlawful basis.
Society of American Military Engineers Student Chapter at George Mason University has a total of 250 points.
