Mission
STEMinists was founded on the mission to foster future female leaders in STEM and to increase representation of women in STEM. The purpose of this organization is to establish an inclusive and empowering community at George Mason University that facilitates encouragement and assistance during students' academic and career pursuits. This organization serves to engage students in opportune environments that broaden their knowledge, expand their networks, and ultimately allow them to flourish professionally through education, leadership, mentorship, community service, and other resources that reinforce career readiness.
