About Us

The mission of SoSa is to encourage students to understand that technology does not merely exist within a bubble for one's profit, but in a space of common good for everyone. We create political and civic engagement change and increased social good, while focusing on networking with other nonprofits and technology activists to help students get better nontraditional opportunities. SoSa focuses on but is not limited to semesterly campaigns for women's issues, environmental, and social justice causes.

Members Benefits

Members will be able to volunteer, work with community partners, network with technology and political partners, and work on creating political change with issues related to technology. We hope students will get more civic engagement and political networking opportunities to work with partners like TechShift Alliance, Women Giving Back, and more nonprofits and technology related organizations, whilst also working on political change through letter writing and lobbying.
