About Us
The mission of the George Mason University Student Health Advisory Board (SHAB) is to ensure that the health and wellness of George Mason's student body are provided for by the University to the best possible extent. To do this, the SHAB will serve as a liaison between George Mason students and the administrators of the various student wellness offices on campus, including but not limited to: Student Health Services (SHS) Center for the Advancement of Well-Being (CWB) Student Support and Advocacy Center (SSAC) Disability Services (DS) Overall, the three goals of the SHAB are to educate students about available healthcare services, collect feedback about suggested improvements to on-campus healthcare services, and provide input to the administration on necessary policy changes.
