About our annual conference:
The Model World Health Organization Conference (MWHO) aims to introduce and educate students with realistic rules of a WHO World Health Assembly meeting. The annual conference will serve as a capstone to a series of scholarly events aimed at educating the student about global health in the context of an annual theme. MWHO mimics the political, social, and economic realities defining global health policies. Students will participate as delegates that will debate, prepare legislation, and vote on resolutions that could potentially be forwarded to the WHO headquarters for consideration. The conference is free of charge to students and will be open to university students outside of George Mason University (pending COVID-19 guidelines).
