EESA’s version of a shimgilina is a lively, interactive reenactment of a traditional wedding ceremony where the groom’s family sends elders to formally request the bride’s hand in marriage. The event showcases rich cultural traditions through music, dance, and storytelling, creating an engaging and immersive experience on campus.
