Membership in this organization will not be restricted on the basis of race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, gender identity, gender expression, sex, or age. All students are qualified for membership. All active members must be currently enrolled GMU students with a minimum academic achievement record defined as a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.0. Types of membership available o Active (currently enrolled GMU students who attend meetings/functions and pay dues if applicable) o Associate (may include members of faculty/staff, community members or students from other schools) o Honorary (alumni or community members) In order to be recognized as an active member, students must communicate their desire to join Immanuel College Ministry as an active member and attend 65% of the regular large group meetings. In order to be recognized as an associate member, candidates must communicate their desire to join Immanuel College Ministry as an associate member and be approved by the President and Treasurer as such. In order to be recognized as an honorary member, the President and Treasurer must recognize the candidate as such. Only active members may vote on matters (official or not) including amendments, elections, and other motions brought forth in meetings. Associate and Honorary members may not vote in meetings. Membership privileges may be revoked at the discretion of the President and Treasurer.
