Patriot Motorsports seeks to provide the GMU engineering community with an opportunity to develop engineering expertise by applying concepts learned inside the classroom in the hands-on setting of the rigorous international Formula SAE competition. The interdisciplinary nature of designing, computer aided modeling, and fabricating a formula-style vehicle from scratch is a unique chance to best mimic an industry-level engineering project which demands cohesive teamwork from members with various STEM backgrounds.
