MIA is a student organization that focuses on improvisational comedy. We hold rehearsals, open practice jams, and shows that anybody and everybody is invited to. Any student is permitted and encouraged to attend our practice jams to have fun and grow as an improviser. We also hold yearly auditions to fill spots on our performance team so look out for the dates to be posted!
MIA has something for everyone!
If you're new to improv and want to try it out, come and try our bi-weekly jams! Think of these as workshops-- We'll teach you how to do improv, and then you'll get the chance to play yourself in a small, no-judgement environment!
If you're not the performing type (yet!), we also put on multiple shows every semester that are completely free to watch!
If you think it's time to try your own hand at improv, you can audition at the beginning of the school year for the chance to join our performance team!
