About Us

This organization’s mission is to celebrate diversity by creatively cultivating change within our community. We will improve the life of the BIPOC (Black, indigenous people of color) population in the Reva and Sid Dewberry Family School of Music at George Mason University: scholastically, socially, and strategically, by ingraining a feeling of possession and pride in George Mason University. Additionally, the organization fills in as the essential representative body for BIPOC students, bridging the gap between students, faculty, organizations, and administration of the Reva and Sid Dewberry Family School of Music, as well as the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
