About Us

Outdoors at George Mason University connects students through accessible hikes and outdoor adventures, fostering community, wellness, and leadership. Our mission is to create opportunities for students of all backgrounds to explore nature together while building a lasting tradition of outdoor culture at Mason. Outdoors at GMU is a student-led RSO and is not affiliated with Mason Recreation’s Outdoor Adventures (Our club email is outdoorsatgmu@gmail.com, while Mason Rec uses outdoors@gmu.edu)
