About Us

Our mission in S.C.O.P.E. is to foster academic and professional growth through hands-on opportunities and community engagement. We aim to provide members with essential skills and experiences such as Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, public speaking, and leadership development. Through health awareness campaigns and discussions on global health issues, we strive to promote informed and compassionate future healthcare professionals. Our organization also connects students with medical professionals and current medical students through guest speaker events and collaborative programs. Additionally, we seek to build strong relationships with local healthcare systems such as Sentara and Inova to support shadowing, volunteering, and educational opportunities.
