About Us
We are a social and professional organization dedicated to connecting, preparing, and representing the women in engineering fields. Our mission is to provide valuable resources and create events to help women build connections with like-minded peers and mentors, while also encouraging career-readiness and leadership. At George Mason University, our section aligns with the mission of the international Society of Women Engineers (SWE), which is to: “Empower women to achieve their full potential in careers as engineers and leaders; expand the image of the engineering and technology professions as a positive force in improving the quality of life; and demonstrate the value of diversity and inclusion.”
