At the start of Fall 2024, a half-day training workshop will be offered by the "Good Trouble" faculty, staff, and student group to students interested in engaging in social action and connecting with others with similar interests.
They would like to hear from you! Would you be interested in attending training on social action, and if so, what types of sessions would you find most useful? Please tell them here: https://gmu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3IrBhOohwL43ZQ2
This survey is being conducted by the "Good Trouble" faculty, staff, and student group at George Mason University. For more information, see https://cecil.gmu.edu/students/good-trouble
Fundraising Opportunity- noshd
Attention Student Organizations! Fundraise Faster & Easier with noshd!
Looking to boost your fundraising efforts? noshd, the revolutionary college dining app, is here to help!
What is noshd?
Imagine scoring 20% off at your favorite restaurants near campus AND helping your organization raise up to $5,000 - that's the magic of noshd!
Here's how it works:
Students download the free noshd app using their student email address (get $10 bonus credit just for signing up!).
They discover trendy restaurants offering 20% off through the app.
Your organization earns:
$5 for every app download
$500 for every 100 downloads
OR (drumroll please) you can earn $10 per noshd transaction if you host an official fundraising event!
Double your donation potential! Host a noshd-themed event at one of our partnered restaurants (think: Taco Tuesday or Coffee Tab) and earn double on every noshd transaction made within 30 days of the event. That's up to $5,000 for your organization!
Why partner with noshd?
Easy fundraising: No need for bake sales or car washes - students simply download an app and dine out!
Increased engagement: Host fun events to incentivize app downloads and restaurant visits.
Win-win situation: Students save money, restaurants gain new customers, and your organization reaches its fundraising goals!
An International Week tradition, previously held before the Dance Competition, is now being held on Wednesday of iWeek, during the lunch-time hours to bring these tasty dishes to all the students on campus. Join us in celebrating and sharing our cultures with other students and groups across campus.
Mason's international student clubs present dances from around the world in this colorful and lively competition! Come out and support the participating teams and individuals competing in this year's event.
SAVE THE DATE: This annual celebration recognizes leaders and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional development and impact to the Mason community. Check for nominations and more info here: https://si.gmu.edu/distinguished-quill-award/
We will be personally inviting those that were nominated and will be awarding trophies to those being recognized for their contributions at Mason! Please invite your family members, friends, and fellow students to celebrate these accomplishments!
All Student Leaders and Advisors are welcome to join in and celebrate their own accomplishments as well!
