Subject: Virtual Spring Preview
Hello!
The Office of Admissions is providing an exceptional opportunity for RSOs to connect with a large number of admitted students who are strongly considering continuing their education at Mason.
On Thursday, April 23rd from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. EST we are hosting a Virtual Spring Preview for admitted and deposited domestic and international freshmen and transfer students for the Fall 2020 semester. This will replace the in-person Spring Preview event that was scheduled for Sunday, April 19th.
Participation from RSOs in our new, virtual, WebEx event will be vital to the success of enrolling our Fall 2020 freshman and transfer class.
We are asking RSOs to run a WebEx meeting room offering Drop-in Q&A. Student Organizations will have students coming in and out of the WebEx meeting room for the entire 2.5 hours, and will simply be answering questions. Our vision is that this will run similar to how “tabling” normally would at an in person Spring Preview YARD FEST.
We will need at least one person on camera live from their organization between 6:15 – 9:00 p.m. EST. We also need another person from the organization to help monitor questions the students are asking on chat. We will provide a link to the WebEx room they will be using.
