Subject: Interest Meeting this Thursday


Second Interest Meeting

Were you unable to attend the first interest meeting? Would you like to meet more of your teammates? Do you have a burning desire to ask a specific question in person? Or do you just want to say hi? If you said yes to one or more of these questions, you are in luck because the second interest meeting is going to be this Thursday, September 7th at 11:15am in Wilkins Plaza. If you went to the first interest meeting it's just going to be the same information so you can attend if you would like but you don't have to. If you can't make this event either that's okay, we can bring you up to speed on the Gear Field Trip or at some other event or even in a 1on1 meetup. Just let us know your schedule.
 

Upcoming events

Keep an eye out for more information regarding these dates:
  • September 17th, 12pm - Gear Field Trip, we will meet up on campus before leaving together
  • September 22nd, 10:20pm - First Practice, you will need to complete all forms, sports physicals, concussion tests, and have dues paid before this date
  • October 15th, 10:30am-2pm - Yard Fest, this is an event for all student orgs, it's technically a recruiting event but its also for the orgs to have fun and play games

Discord

We have a discord server now! Please join at this link as we will be posting updates and coordinate team communication through it as it has more options to do so than GroupMe. We will continue to use the GroupMe until everyone moves over to Discord, but this will allow us another avenue to communicate in the meantime.

We're so proud of our two Officers that made it onto the Division III Men's team! Come watch Serena and Cassidy at their home games and be sure to follow @georgemasonhky on instagram to keep up with them. These home games are NOT at the St. James where we would normally practice, but they are instead at Prince William Ice Center. The address is 5180 Dale Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22193. Puck drops are at the following times:

  • 10/8 1:50pm
  • 10/14 9:20pm
  • 11/11 9:20pm
