Dear RSO Leader,
We would like to invite YOU to join us for our annual International Week Flag Parade! During the parade, we will be marching around the Fairfax Campus displaying our countries' flag, carrying cultural artifacts, or wearing attire that represents your nationality, ethnicity, heritage, or student organization to the entire Mason community. All members of the Mason community and guests are welcome to participate in the parade!

International Week 2024 Parade
Date: Tuesday, April 2, 2024
Time: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Location: Wilkins Plaza (TBD Rain Location Dewberry Hall)
The parade will begin at 12:00 pm in SUB 1 Quad (where the painted benches are) and end outside in Wilkins Plaza (near the South Side dining hall). Please refer to the map attached for more information on the parade route.

*Please keep in mind that there might be more than one person from your country. The flag for the parade will be given out to the person that comes and picks up their flag first.

The professional George Mason University photographers will also be in attendance at the parade so you can take your picture taken!
International Week T-Shirts will be given out to the students who will be walking in the parade!
We will end the parade with a ceremony where we will make announcements of all of the represented countries and groups in attendance. A FREE FOOD will be available after the parade and the iWeek Festival as well featuring various student organizations and departments from campus.
We hope that you can join us on such a special occasion for all of our international students.
