The Three Minute Thesis Competition is a research communication competition in which George Mason Doctoral (PhD) candidates and MFA students present their research to a non-specialist audience in three minutes using only one visual aid. Students have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis or dissertation research and its significance.

Preliminary Round: The Judges choose finalists to go onto the final round. Audience members can come and support their peers, students, and friends!

Final Round: The Judges choose the Top 3 winners and the audience chooses the 4th "People's Choice" winner. Audience members can come vote and support their peers, students, and friends!

Registering for this event does NOT register you to compete in the 3MT. This event is for AUDIENCE attendees only.
