Graduate Student Life's Building Community for Diverse Graduate Students events focus on fostering relationships among Mason graduate and professional students of diverse identities while providing a platform for them to express ways to improve and strengthen the graduate community at Mason. Join us for our spring event, a panel discussion featuring the experiences and insights of first-generation graduate students and faculty at Mason. Hear their stories of success and resilience as they make their way through higher education.

Panelists include:

Nadia Miningou, Doctoral Student in Chemistry & Biochemistry, College of Science
Dr. Toya Jones Frank, Assistant Professor, Mathematics Education Leadership and Secondary Education

Moderator: Sydney S. Glass, Master's Student in Public Health, College of Health and Human Services

All Mason community members -- graduate students, undergraduate students, faculty, and staff -- are invited to this event. We hope you will join us!
