Graduate Student Life's Building Community for Diverse Graduate Students events focus on fostering relationships among Mason graduate and professional students of diverse identities while providing a platform for them to express ways to improve and strengthen the graduate community at Mason. Join us for our spring event, a panel discussion featuring the experiences and insights of first-generation graduate students and faculty at Mason. Hear their stories of success and resilience as they make their way through higher education.

Panelists include:

Nadia Miningou, Doctoral Student in Chemistry & Biochemistry, College of Science
Dr. Toya Jones Frank, Assistant Professor, Mathematics Education Leadership and Secondary Education
Dr. Erin Peters-Burton, Donna R. and David E. Sterling Endowed Professor in Science Education
Moderator: Sydney S. Glass, Master's Student in Public Health, College of Health and Human Services
