Join ICN as we hear from the CEO of the McCool Team LLC and former Director of the NGA’s Data and Digital Innovation Directorate, Jim McCool, about his exciting career path and what advice he has for those interested in pursuing similar work. While with the NGA, McCool also overhauled their analysis programs and led offices covering transnational issues, counterterrorism, and precision targeting. Prior to working for the NGA, McCool was with the CIA, where he was a briefer for the President’s Daily Brief and where he also led analytic components in areas such as insurgency, counterinsurgency, and irregular warfare. While there, he also managed a team in their Counterterrorism Center, where he focused on terrorist weapons analysis.
