Join us for a vibrant gathering hosted by the Japanese Culture Association at W&M on March 29, 2025. This event brings together student-run Japanese organizations from William and Mary, George Mason University, University of Maryland (College Park), Old Dominion University, and the University of Virginia for an immersive cultural and networking experience.

Event Highlights:

Building Connections:
Kick off with engaging icebreakers—think Japanese-themed charades and a custom Jeopardy game—that encourage fun interactions and help spark new friendships among 60–70 participants.

Exploration & Interaction:
Enjoy a scavenger hunt through the historic streets of Colonial Williamsburg, fostering teamwork and discovery while mingling with peers from different institutions.
Participate in guided discussions where you can delve into current social issues and cultural topics in Japanese society.

Sporting event!
Experience the energy of the Japan sporting event Undoukai, designed to blend friendly competition with team-building, and later unwind with free time and an after-social gathering.

This event is more than just a series of activities—it’s a chance to create lasting memories, expand your cultural horizons, and build a network of passionate individuals who share your love for Japanese culture. Whether you’re here to debate contemporary issues or simply to enjoy a day full of engaging activities, there’s something for everyone.

Mark your calendars and get ready to experience a unique blend of tradition, innovation, and community spirit!
