Join the Kurdish Student Organization (KSO) for an inspiring webinar event featuring author Alesa Lightbourne.

We are excited to welcome Alesa Lightbourne, author of the award-winning novel The Kurdish Bike. Inspired by true events, the story follows an American teacher who buys a bike and sets out to explore rural villages in Southern Kurdistan (Northern Iraq). Through her journey, she discovers friendship, resilience, and the strength of Kurdish women navigating tradition and change.

Following the discussion, there will be a Q&A session where attendees can ask Alesa Lightbourne questions about the book, her experiences, and the stories that inspired her writing
