DISCOVER YOUR OWN ADVENTURE!
This year's Leadership Mason Virtual Experience allows for students to choose sessions they are most interested in learning more about. We are excited to share that we are offering over 20 different educational sessions that will take place on a variety of different days and times. Students will be able the select the sessions they want to engage in and Mason 360 will help track each student's personal Leadership Mason Experience journey. See below for more details around student program participation requirements. Registration for the Leadership Mason Experience will be conducted via Mason 360. If you want to participate in the Leadership Mason Experience and receive credit for one of the tracks, you MUST follow the registration information below.
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: Register for the Leadership Mason Experience via Mason 360
STEP 2: Decide which track you want to take part in (Track #1 or Track #2 - info about each track is listed below. Students can switch tracks at any point.)
*Track #1*
-Leadership Mason Virtual Experience Kick Off (Total number of programs need to be completed
from this area: 1)
-1 program of your choice from 3 of the following focus areas (Please note that certain events will fill
multiple buckets and that is okay. You will get credit for both)
- Focus area: student activism and civic engagement
- Focus area: well-being, self-care, and community care
- Focus area: ethical leadership
- Focus area: diversity, inclusion, and identity development
- Focus area: career exploration and mentoring
Leadership Mason Virtual Experience Closing Session (3 sessions will be provided, students only
need to participate in 1 of the closing sessions) (Total number of programs need to be completed
from this area: 1)
-Complete the Leadership Mason Experience Evaluation after the Closing Program
Students complete Track #1, will receive a certificate and digital badge via Mason 360.
*Track #2*
-Leadership Mason Virtual Experience Kick Off (Total number of programs need to be completed
from this area: 1)
-1 program of your choice from all of the focus areas (Please note that certain events will fill multiple
buckets and that is okay. You will get credit for both)
- Focus area: student activism and civic engagement
- Focus area: well-being, self-care, and community care
- Focus area: ethical leadership
- Focus area: diversity, inclusion, and identity development
- Focus area: career exploration and mentoring
-Leadership Mason Virtual Experience Closing Session (3 sessions will be provided, students only
need to participate in 1 of the closing sessions) (Total number of programs need to be completed
from this area: 1)

Students who participate in all of the above, will receive a T-Shirt, certificate, and digital badge via
Mason 360
STEP 3: Register for the opening event via Mason 360 (this is required for all participants)
STEP 4: Register for 1 of the closing events via Mason 360 (this is required for all participants)
- Closing Session #1
- Closing Session #2
- Closing Session #3
STEP 5: Once you decide which track you want to complete, look at the schedule and select which programs you want to attend that are part of designated leadership focus areas
- Focus area: student activism and civic engagement
- Focus area: well-being, self-care, and community care
- Focus area: ethical leadership
- Focus area: diversity, inclusion, and identity development
- Focus area: career exploration and mentoring
STEP 6: In order to get credit for participating in a program, you MUST register for each event and CHECK-IN via Mason 360 on the day of the program.
