In its 10th year, GMU's Annual Immigration Monologues tackles the immigration dialogue with a night full of inspirational stories and performances from our diverse immigrant community. This year's theme is "Afraid, but Not Defeated: Dismantling the American Dream".

Theme Description: This year's theme pushes against the romanticization of immigrant narratives. The struggle and resilience of immigrant communities are often viewed as stories of inspiration rather than injustice. In its 10th year, Immigration Monologues seeks to amplify the diverse needs of immigrant communities and uplift folks that are uprooting injustice in the DMV area.
