About Us

The MSWSA's vision is to create a diverse community of social workers by engaging with the Mason community to foster professional development, engage in advocacy and service, and support students in the program. Our mission is to provide a space for MSW students and alumni to create community; lead, participate in, and advocate for social justice initiatives; and enhance the social work department to meet student's needs. The leadership team will work with MSWSA members to identify the annual measurable goals that stem from the organization's vision and mission at the beginning of the Fall term.
