Learn how to secure funding, build effective budgets, navigate the Student Funding Board process, and confidently manage your organization's finances. This session equips officers with the knowledge and resources needed to fund successful events and initiatives while staying compliant with university policies.

We'll wrap up with an interactive discussion where participants can share ideas, ask questions, and learn from the many different types of events hosted by student organizations.

When you register, you'll also have the opportunity to submit topics or questions you'd like to see covered, helping tailor the session to your organization's needs.

Ayleen Leonhardt has happily worked at George Mason University since 2017. With 20+ years of experience in higher education, she is passionate about student leadership, campus engagement, and creating opportunities for students to build meaningful communities. Ayleen's career in student affairs began as a student employee and includes 16 years living and working in university residence halls as a student, Resident Assistant, and Hall Director, giving her a unique perspective on the student experience.Outside of work, Ayleen is the proud mom of two boys and she and her husband enjoy tabletop gaming, Steam Games (mainly open-world - a builder!), and spending many evenings connecting with friends on Discord.
