About Us

Silk Road Nation is a student-led cultural organization celebrating the heritage and modern voices of Central Asian countries along the historic Silk Road, fostering cross-cultural understanding through events, discussions, and outreach. We also highlight the Silk Road’s historic impact on the economies of nations like Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan—where ancient trade routes drove prosperity via exchanges of goods, technologies, and ideas, shaping their development then and now. From historic bazaars to modern trade partnerships, we explore this legacy to underscore the region’s enduring role in global connectivity.
