Mission
The Community Adjudication Board is a diverse group of trained Mason students who resolve allegations of misconduct as a means of providing Mason students the opportunity to have a fair and objective hearing before a representation of the Mason community. Maintaining accountability while influencing students and student organizations/groups to make effective and purposeful decision-making. The Board will follow established procedures and protocol and will seek to render decisions and recommend sanctions which are consistent with the Code of Student Conduct.

In the event of a tragedy or impactful event, the Mason Mental Health Task force will provide campus wide support details and resources for our students. They will also activate the "Patriot Community Gathering Spaces" to provide open spaces to gather, connect, and attend to the mental health and Well-Being needs of our community. These organized support spaces will be open to students and the Mason community as needed.

Established in 1987, Early Identification Program (EIP) serves as the college preparatory program at George Mason University. With over 1,600 graduates, EIP provides access to educational resources for middle and high school students who will be the first in their families to attend a college or university. Currently, more than 600 enrolled students are actively pursuing higher education due to funding from our corporate alliances, individual donors, and our partnership with seven local public school systems in Northern Virginia. We collaborate with Fairfax County, Prince William County, Alexandria City, Arlington County, Falls Church City, Manassas City, and Manassas Park to nominate, select, support, retain, and graduate students each year.

EIP empowers students to achieve their goal of attaining higher education and succeeding once there. Our aim is to educate the whole student. We provide year-round academic enrichment, personal and social development, civic engagement, and leadership training opportunities. EIP ensures that students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and intellect to become lifelong learners, leaders, and responsible global citizens.
