Join us for the 4th annual Money Smart Day! The Financial Well-Being Team in the Student Support and Advocacy Center (SSAC) defines "financial well-being" as creating a sense of security and financial balance in your life. It is the feeling of having the financial freedom to plan for today, tomorrow, and the future. April is Financial Literacy Month and George Mason has created the Money Smart Day, a financial literacy conference.

This year, Money Smart Day will take place in a hybrid setting throughout the day on April 17, 2024 with various departments across all three Mason campuses (Fairfax, Mason Square, and Sci-Tech). This event is open to students, staff, faculty, alumni, and other members of the Mason community and will have multiple online and in-person sessions to choose from. Once you've registered, you'll be sent an email with the Zoom links for each session. Choose which ones you'd like to attend.

Here is the schedule for all the Money Smart Day sessions:

· Money Smart Day Tabling (giveaways!): 9:00 – 11:00 AM (in-person at all campuses)

· Anti-Scam & Fraud Protection (snacks provided): 10:30 – 11:30 AM (virtual & in-person at Fairfax SUB I, room 3311)

· Buying & Financing a Home as a First-Time Buyer (box lunches provided): 12:00 – 1:00 PM (virtual & in-person at Mason Square Van Metre Hall, room 308)
