WHO ARE WE?
alpha Kappa Delta Phi at George Mason University is the 53rd Pre-Associate Chapter of the first, largest and only international Asian-interest sorority and strives to uphold our pillars of sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, service, and Asian-awareness. With over 5,000+ sisters, alpha Kappa Delta Phi's eternal sisterhood continues to rapidly grow across the country and in Canada.

WHY aKDPhi?
Established in the Fall of 2016, GMU aKDPhi continues to grow and create friendships as time goes by. Our sisters take pride in what we have done so far for the Mason community and the connections we have made with other organizations so far as GMU aKDPhi. From monthly volunteering opportunities to supporting the organizations on our campus, we hope to continue to make an impact as time goes on and grow our everlasting sisterhood.

WHAT IS RUSH?
Rush is a two week period at the beginning of each semester where students can attend free and non-binding events if they are interested in alpha Kappa Delta Phi! This is a chance for students to get to know more about our sorority and meet our sisters!

EVENT REQUIREMENTS
You will need to attend at least 1 GIM and 2 other events to qualify for an interview! Students MUST register on Mason360 to be allowed into the event.

WEEK 1
Snowy Soirée: Paint Tea Cups and Decorate Hair Clips! [SOCIAL #1]
Monday, January 27th

Sip, paint, and join us for a tea party painting experience! There will be fancy hats, delicious treats, and good company!

Blooming Over Coffee [SOCIAL]
Tuesday, January 28th

Join us tonight to create a lovely bouquet of flowers that the queen would approve.

Join us for our Service night! We will be writing encouraging letters to breast cancer patients.

A Grandly Glacial Affair [INVITE-ONLY EVENT]

Time and location will be individually sent to those who have met rush requirements (have attended 2 socials and 1 GIM).
