Lambda Sigma Society is a national honor society for second-year men and women dedicated to the purpose of fostering leadership, scholarship, fellowship, and the spirit of service among college students, and to promoting the interests of George Mason University in every possible way. Those who achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above in their first year at college are invited to apply to Lambda Sigma.

Get access to scholarships and awards ranging from $500 - $7,500 each, totaling $350,000 per year, for tuition, community service, educational assistance, and achieving your personal dreams.
Apply for three different types of awards, including mission-based and need-based scholarships and grants as well as Stephen Covey Tribute Awards.
Additional scholarships are available to inducted members.

To aid in the development of successful officers in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. To foster camaraderie and esprit de corps among all three Reserve Officers' Training Corps programs. The National Society is open to any member of the George Mason Community, and fosters their development and leadership along with giving them opportunities to work alongside Reserve Officers' Training Corps programs.

The purpose of Nu Rho Psi is to: "(1) encourage professional interest and excellence in scholarship, particularly in neuroscience; (2) award recognition to students who have achieved such excellence in scholarship; (3) advance the discipline of neuroscience; (4) encourage intellectual and social interaction between students, faculty, and professionals in neuroscience and related fields; (5) promote career development in neuroscience and related fields; (6) increase public awareness of neuroscience and its benefits for the individual and society; and (7) encourage service to the community."

Pre-Pharmacy Honor Society is an organization for all students interested in pursuing a career in pharmaceuticals or simply interested in learning what pharmacists do as a career. This club prepares students for the rigorous academic program in becoming a pharmacist, as well as providing advice to make transitioning into pharmacy school easier.
