Kokoro Taiko began as a small initiative led by the Japanese Studies program at Lake Braddock Secondary and a handful of passionate high school students. What started as a cultural extracurricular blossomed into a tradition and passion that has stayed with us ever since. We would like to continue that legacy at a college level and share the joy of Kumi-daiko and Japanese culture with the George Mason University community.
