Our mission is to unite students through a shared love of the outdoors, offering safe, enjoyable, and accessible hiking and outdoor experiences that provide growth, promotes friendships, and puts out a stronger connection to nature. The club is dedicated to promoting community, wellness, and environmental awareness while encouraging students of all backgrounds and experience levels to explore and appreciate the natural world.
Membership in the Patriot Hiking Society offers club members the chance to improve both physical and mental wellness, reduce stress from coursework, and form lasting friendships through shared experiences in nature and hiking. It also includes availability to join events, such as on campus and off campus (i.e. hiking, traveling, camping, etc.)
