INOVA OBSERVERSHIP

The Inova observership will allow students to see what an advanced medical provider does, for example a PA! It allows pre-pa students to gain experience by observing and analyzing how a PA works in different specialties.

• 18 years of age or older

• Signed Observer Confidentiality Acknowledgment Policy

• Signed Educational Purpose Policy

• Completed ID Badge Application

• Full COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of Moderna, Pfizer, or single dose of J&J)

• 2 doses of MMR

• 2 doses of Varicella

• Hepatitis B or waiver form

• Annual Seasonal Influenza or exemption form

• Negative TB skin test within 12 months or negative chest X-ray

All of these requirements (and forms) can be found in the Observer packet. A completed example is also available on the Mason360 website. You can also obtain these forms by clicking the resources tab on the website and going to documents. Please do not check any of the boxes on the checklist or highlight the packet.
