In collaboration with the University's 9/11 Day of Service. Students in HNRS 111-002 will participate in a service project of their choice. From cleaning up parks in Downtown Fairfax to working in the greenhouse on campus, students will engage with partners to support their local community.

Cohosted with New Student Family Programs, First Year Experience, City of Fairfax Urban Forestry and The Greenhouse and Gardens Program.

Assist with bioblitz, invasive vine door hangers, beech leaf disease surveys, trail mapping, invasive removal at Daniels Run Park in Downtown Fairfax.
