Details

In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the MIX's Avid 4' x 8' CNC Router which is optimized for fabrication in wood and soft materials. The Avid CNC operational software Mach 4 will be introduced along with some 2D and 3D software options for designing your cuts and preparing your toolpaths to create a g-code file that can be read by the CNC software Mach 4. An introduction to operating the machine as well as safety procedures and clean up procedures will also be covered during the workshop
