Join the Latin American Political Society (LAPS) on Monday, April 6th from 5:30–7:00 PM for an engaging, student-led discussion on food insecurity across Latin America. Through real-world case studies from different countries, we will explore how issues like economic inequality, climate change, and political instability impact access to food and affect everyday communities. This event is meant to be interactive, giving students the chance to share their thoughts, ask questions, and connect what they’re learning to real global challenges. To make the experience even more immersive, we’ll also be featuring five different snacks representing each country we discuss, allowing attendees to engage with the cultures in a more tangible way. Whether you’re passionate about advocacy, interested in Latin American issues, or just looking to learn something new, this is a great opportunity to be part of a meaningful and eye-opening conversation.
